New at the Garden Center!

Spring is here! For weeks new plant material has been arriving and we are getting geared up for another great season. What better way to get into the season than to visit Winterberry Gardens? Our greenhouse is full of pansies and perennials just waiting to be planted. Pottery and statuary will be arriving shortly and our tree and shrub yard is filling up daily. With all that is going on, we are also happy to announce some new additions to the Garden Center this year.

When To Start Planting

Hopefully, by the time you’re reading this article all of the snow is gone and it’s time to plant…maybe!

If the weather isn’t co-operating for planting, now would be the time to start your spring clean-up.  I always start with a clean garden…leaves and debris raked up and removed. This is also a good time to get your garden tilled.  It’s good for the garden and will help the soil to warm up faster.
