Landscape Management


The Garden Center Foreman role involves supervising and completing planting/landscape projects in the field as well as maintain nursery grounds. The Foreman is responsible for overall site safety, quality of the work and project completion in accordance with the project plan, timeline and budget.

Job Duties

  • Supervise Garden Center crew who operate machinery
  • Fully understand the project plan before fieldwork begins
  • Physical work; including site preparation, plantings (all plant types – from large trees to small annuals), mulch and topsoil application, loading and unloading materials and tools and hauling equipment
  • Able to drive a truck and trailer and operate landscaping equipment, machinery and tools
  • Complete daily job reports and timesheets
  • Address client questions and concerns while onsite
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment on campus; including vehicles and equipment. Perform daily equipment and vehicle inspections.
  • Focus on attention to detail when completing projects


  • Valid driver license and current Driver Medical Card
  • OSHA 10 Certification (within 10 days of assuming position)
  • Available to work 40+ hours per week during busy season and possibly on weekends when needed
  • Able to work in fast-paced, action-oriented environment in all elements
  • Able to lift 60+ lbs


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience operating Bobcat, Skid Steer, Loader, Mini Excavator
  • Some knowledge of plants including trees, shrubs, perennials, annuals and tropicals
